Clark County PUD
Dynalectric designed and installed a sunburst array ( 2.24 KW ) for Clark County PUD in Vancouver Washington.
We used a combination of triangular and rectanglar solar panels. The solar panel racks were custom designed to hold the array configuration and to withstand up to 100 MPH winds. Support structure is made from galvanized steel.
The intent of the installation was to show PUD customers a renewable energy solution and how it worked. The sunburst array is non-standard, as most installations would be roof mounted in residential or light commercial installations. This array also includes a weather monitoring station and power output monitoring so perspective customers can see the relationship between solar power output and prevailing weather conditions.
