Nike World Campus

Beaverton, Oregon

proj_nike.jpgDynalectric worked closely with the general contractor, Kiewit Construction Co. and architect, Thompson-Vaivoda and Associates, Inc. to successfully complete the fast-paced construction of the Mia Hamm building with our installation of electrical service and distribution, lighting, fire alarm and security systems throughout the office and R&D (research and development) facility.

The 450,000 square foot facility, named for the leading scorer of the U.S. Women's National Soccer team that won gold at the 1996 Olympics, is the largest on the headquarters campus and will house Nike's R&D operations for which Dynalectric Company installed and connected over 700 pieces of manufacturing equipment in less than two months.

At completion, the 1 million square foot northern expansion more than doubled the size of the Nike World Campus and allowed Nike to consolidate an additional 3,000 employees who had been working in a number of leased satellite offices around the Portland metro area.
